Cut flies to share

The Eagle Scout wordbook .cut file is available in my sidebar.  There is a George version and a Plantin schoolbook version.

Both .cut files require Stand and Salute for the Eagle image. If you don't have Stand and Salute, you could always remove the Eagle image and still use the .cut file.

Edited to Add: At the request of thekidsmom from the Cricut mb, I have added a wordbook .cut file that says "Cub Scout".

Eagle Scout

Some dear friends of ours have a son who is having his Court of Honor for Eagle Scout in a couple of weeks. We won't be able to attend since they live some distance away, but I wanted to send him something special to commemorate the event. So, I created this word book using Cricut Design Studio, the Plantin Schoolbook cartridge and Stand and Salute cartridge. My .cut file is available in the sidebar.

Thanks for looking!! I love comments! Have a blessed day!

Just a simple vinyl project I did over my stepdaughter's antique dough table. I love that with vinyl you get a big impact for very little money and effort!! ( Don't know what's up with my pictures. I have to make them very small or you can't see the whole picture!)

I thought I would share the vinyl I just put up in my entryway. Guess I should have taken the pic in the morning when the sun wasn't shining in the windows! Anyway, you get the idea! I cut the letters from the Winter Woodland cartridge. I love this font!!

Now, for the exciting part! To celebrate Provo Craft's 100th cartridge, which is Winter Woodland, used in this project, and to celebrate the world launch of the Gypsy at midnight, September 24th on HSN, I am doing a giveaway!! All you have to do is join my blog as a follower and leave a comment on this post! Simple!!

What can you win??? Enough supplies for you to do your own vinyl projects!!! I will send the winner TWO YARDS of the same brown vinyl I used for my project, (or black vinyl if you prefer) a burnishing tool and enough transfer tape to complete your projects!! (and I might even throw in some other goodies, just for fun!) Vinyl is so much fun!!

So, what are you waiting for??? Go!!!

(All entries must be posted by 11:59pm ET on September 23, 2009, which is one minute before the Gypsy launch! One comment per person, please)

Vinyl on my grandsons wall

This is one of MANY vinyl projects completed this week in my step-daughter's home. Her husband's parents are coming for a visit and she wanted to spruce up her house a little. My grandson saw a similar design and asked if I could re-create it for him. This is the result. It is BIG and stretches over the entire top of his closet. The football player was cut fit to page from Sports Mania, lettering is from George and Lyrical Letters using the Jumbo feature.

First criss-cross card

Where have I been???? I can't believe I just learned about these wonderful criss-cross cards! I have gone criss-cross crazy!!! Anyway, here is a pic of the first one I created for a dear friend who is suffering with shingles. I colored the stamp with Copic markers, the mountains and trees are from the Camp Out cartridge, paper is from DCWV. I used dimensionals to pop up the trees and mountains, along with the fisherman. What do you think??
